The Aim of Lanna International School

The aim of the LIST Counselling Service is to help all students through school ensuring they receive adequate emotional support to engage fully in the educational program and help with  onward career and university plans.


What We Do


The counselling service provides support for all students in 2 main areas:


-College Counselling Service 


Career optionsUniversity and College adviceIELTS/TOEFL adviceHelp with college and university applications both overseas and within ThailandPreparation for SAT exams (USA university entrance exams)Help with study skills and revision for IGCSE and A level examsHelp with scholarship applicationsNetwork and contact with ex-student group (LIST Alumni)

-The Emotional Support Counselling Service

 
Transition and Relocation (settling into a new school, culture or year group)Problems at homeProblems in schoolWorries and anxieties Depression and feeling downRelationship difficulties In fact anything that is worrying you.

We operate an “open door” policy...any students or parents/ carers can access the school counsellor with or without an appointment, although a telephone call or email is always a good idea to check availability.
