Due to our academic success and increasing demand for top quality Primary School Education in Thailand we are pleased to announce that we are expanding our intake for Year 1 and Year 2 classes.

Our waiting list is now so long that we have decided to create two brand new classes for children aged between 5 years and 7 years. We really want young students to get off to an excellent start.

Creating academic excellence, as we know, does not happen quickly. Students who progress into top universities start their journey many, many years before. Important skills and qualities such as confidence, language acquisition, scientific inquiry, creative thinking and patterns of learning are established during the all important, early years of education. It’s no good waiting until High School, the process starts in Year 1.

Quite simply, we believe that a strong foundation in early years education paves the way for success further up the educational ladder, and beyond. It’s no accident that our students who start with us in Year 1 go on to some of the best universities in the world.

How Do We Know Our School is Succeeding?

Primary School Thailand

The best Primary School in Thailand

Of course every school believes it is doing well…but how do we know for sure?

We believe we have the best Elementary School in Thailand, and we can prove it.

In our final Elementary School class each student is tested against “standardised international benchmarks” that are set by Cambridge International Examinations.

These tests are carried out under strict exam conditions and the completed test papers are sealed, stored securely and sent by courier to be assessed by examiners in Cambridge, England. The tests focus on three important areas; English, Mathematics and Science.

We know with pin point accuracy where our Primary Level students are when measured against other students of the same age in England, Australia, America…in fact all over the world.

Every year our students achieve amazing results.

Last year the results showed our Primary students to be significantly ahead of other students in their age group in other schools around the world.

The tests are measured on a range from 0 (the lowest mark) to 6 (the highest mark).

In Mathematics our students achieved an incredible average of 4.9 out of 6.0. In Science they scored an even more impressive 5.0 out of 6.0, and in English another 5.0 out of 6.0. These are incredibly high scores and are well above the average obtained at other Cambridge International Schools around the world.

To give you an idea, the average score across all Cambridge Schools for English was 3.7.

What Do Children Learn in Primary School: Year 1 and Year 2

Primary School Thailand

Primary School students: Proud to be winners.

During Year 1 and Year 2 children follow a standard British curriculum. They study a full range of subject areas that range across art and music to history and science, and everything in between. At the heart of the curriculum is the Cambridge International Examinations Key Stage 1 English, Mathematics and Science Curriculum. In brief this is:

The Cambridge Mathematics Curriculum Framework explores five content areas: geometry, number, measurement, handling data and problem solving. This curriculum focuses on patterns, principles, systems, functions and relationships so that young learners can apply their knowledge and develop a holistic understanding of the subject.

Cambridge Primary English enables young learners to communicate confidently and effectively and to develop the critical thinking skills to respond to a range of information, media and texts with understanding and enjoyment.

This covers four content areas: scientific enquiry, chemistry, biology and physics. Scientific enquiry is about considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning, investigating, recording and analysing data. Environmental awareness and history of science are also part of the Elementary School Year 1 to Year 6 curriculum.
