LIST is an English medium Foundation to Year 13 proprietary school. It was founded in 1993 to serve the Chiang Mai community by providing quality education in a coeducational, non-sectarian, international setting. The school is situated off the Chiang Mai to Hang Dong Road, approximately 3 kilometres South of Chiang Mai's Airport Plaza shopping mall.

| Principal, Secondary Principal, and Registrar. On management and educational policy matters the Head of School consults the Chairman of the Advisory Board and the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board consists of representatives of the school's administration, the Parent Teacher Organization, the investors, and the community. |
From the beginning, Lanna has encouraged applications from students of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Today, Lanna's 260 students in Foundation Years through to Year 13 represent twenty-four nationalities and seventeen languages.
Facilities include separate specialist rooms for Computers and Fine Arts, an internal computer network, a large swimming pool, outside and covered basketball courts, mini- football pitch, playground equipment, and two safe and enclosed playground areas. |

Lunch is served each day in the school cafeteria. The cafeteria provides a combination of Thai and Western food. In addition, a small shop sells snacks and soft drinks. The school provides a regular transportation service to collect students in the morning and to take them home after school. Students who live outside the transport routes may have to go to a central pickup point.
