Over the last holiday we underook a major building programme which has enabled us to expand, amongst other things, our science facilities and thus our science programmes, particularly our offerings at Advanced level. A new suite of six classrooms has been built, providing us with much needed classroom space at this, an exciting time, when we are seeing the school oversubscribed in many Year Groups.

The main driving force behind the new building development has been our aim of offering a much more complete and comprehensive range of A level qualifications. Commencing this coming academic year (2009/2010) we are offering a much more complete and comprehensive range of 'AS' and 'A' level qualifications to our Year 12 and 13 students. Our students are being given the opportunity to study the following subjects to 'A' level: English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, German, Environmental Management, Geography, History, Business Studies, Travel & Tourism, Art, PE, French, Thinking Skills, and Applied ICT.
