We welcome and encourage parents and carers from all cultures, backgrounds and year levels to be involved in our school community!
Throughout the year, LANNA holds Parent Workshops, as well as Coffee Chats with the Head of School, that cover a variety of education and community-related topics.
Importantly, when you join LANNA, you automatically become a PTO member.
The Parent Teacher Organization (LANNA’s PTO) is a vital part of the LANNA community. The PTO works to bring our parents, teachers, students and the greater community together.
The PTO Board is a diverse group of elected volunteers who are determined to make a real difference to the School experience of all students at LANNA (including our own!). We are here to benefit PTO members which consist of all parents, guardians, teachers and staff of the School.
We are on hand to help new families settle in and have representation from many countries including (but not limited to!) Australia, UK, Canada, China, Ireland, Myanmar and Thailand.
The PTO Board meets formally monthly, manages a budget and also has a voice at the School’s Executive Board Meetings.
Throughout the year the PTO arranges events, bake sales, community outings and more. They support student-led activities and help the school in a variety of ways. In addition, the PTO supports local charities through fundraising efforts.

Whilst on the face of it we may be a big School, in actual fact we have a really close knit community. It’s been 30 years in the making and something we are immensely proud of having maintained. We’d love to welcome you too!
We run two General Meetings each year which all PTO members are invited to, to hear our news, make suggestions and we listen to valuable feedback.
We are a busy bunch, involved in running events, fundraising, considering funding requests, making charitable donations and importantly, supporting our wonderful School. We genuinely have a Caring Community here at LANNA which means we get a lot done as we are fortunate to be able to call upon our helpful and willing PTO members.
No year is exactly the same but we do run some regular repeat, ‘winning’ events!
In recent years we have held a Chiang Mai all community Garage Sale, ‘One Campus-One School’ Bake Sales, Big Fun Wet Days (yes, kids got very splashed!) and Family BBQs. In addition we contribute towards Secondary Prom, run a Primary School Disco and Early Years Easter Egg Hunt.
We helped organise Christmas boxes which were delivered to disadvantaged children, funded parent sports supporter t-shirts, coordinated library volunteers and even run a fundraising ‘shop’ selling drinks and snacks at many sporting events!
