Lanna International School recruits teachers and leadership members predominantly using Schrole (iss-schrole.com) and actively seeks qualified teachers with international experience, as well as experienced teachers who wish to leave their home country to begin a career in international education.

Qualification Requirements:

Applicants for teaching roles must hold, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree and full valid teaching certification from their home country e.g. PGCE or B.Ed (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA only candidates will not be considered for employment). Please note that the degree must be directly related to the post that you are applying for. A strong preference is given to candidates who have shown a pattern of involvement in extra-curricular activities. Overseas teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

The Lanna international teacher package includes:

  • HSC medical insurance coverage.
  • Free education for two of your children (“yours” by birth or legally adopted), and half fees thereafter.
  • Return flight to country of origin upon contract renewal. Provided annually, from the end of the second year of service (or a cash bonus alternative).
  • Free lunch each day.
  • The school assists with relevant immigration, visa and Thai teacher license issues on your behalf, and pays the appropriate fees.
