Qualification Requirements:

Applicants for teaching roles must hold, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree and full valid teaching certification from their home country e.g. PGCE or B.Ed (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA only candidates will not be considered for employment). Please note that the degree must be directly related to the post that you are applying for. A strong preference is given to candidates who have shown a pattern of involvement in extra-curricular activities. Overseas teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

Secondary School Vacancies

Teacher of Art (to A Level) for August start

For the coming school year, beginning August 2020, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Secondary art. Art is a very popular and successful subject within the school and whoever is appointed will have the opportunity to develop art at Lanna from this already very positive position, whilst also having the freedom to innovate and teach with a wide variety of mediums. There is also the possibility to host/participate in exhibitions outside of the school, as has already happened several times.

The successful candidate will teach art at KS3, IGCSE and A Level. We currently follow the British IGCSE and A Level syllabuses from Cambridge International Examinations and the successful candidate must be confident of teaching art to this advanced level, including supporting students in the significant written component of CIE’s A Level course. They will be the sole teacher of Secondary level art (with a full-time art assistant) and will be responsible for ongoing planning, development and successful delivery of these courses. They will also have the opportunity to work alongside many dedicated, able and passionate Secondary teachers within a small, but highly successful, innovative, and not least – very friendly school.

Early Years & Primary Admissions and Communication Coordinator

The Early Years & Primary Admissions Officer and Communications Assistant takes overall responsibility for managing student applications and the new students’ enrolment process for Early Years and Primary School’s admissions. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The role also supports the school communications, working with the Secondary Admissions and Communications Manager, and the senior school management, to reach the communications and admissions goals. 



  • Develop a full understanding of the education offered at LANNA, and the ongoing education of our graduates beyond LANNA (to enable meaningful discussions with potential families)
  • Ensure a seamless student customer journey following the LANNA policies and procedures
  • Ensure high-quality customer service standards, ensuring their delivery to all prospective families and influencers by communicating with confidence across different audiences and situations the school’s mission, philosophy and programmes.
  • Work on achieving the target growth and retention numbers in line with the annual budget
  • Monitor and respond to enquiries and self-organise a weekly schedule of meetings and/or admissions tasks
  • Keep up to date in the use of the different digital platforms used in the department (Google Suite, OpenAplly and social media marketing)
  • Organise school tours for prospective families, and be the LANNA first contact ambassador for building strong relationships with new parents and students
  • Onboard and manage ‘student admissions representatives’ (STAR’s) as school tour guides
  • Establish and schedule regular tour dates across Primary and Early Years for families
  • Manage the prospective students’ assessments process and administer its testing
  • Work with English Support staff for student testing and enrolment
  • Organise and conduct group/individual trial sessions for Early Years and Primary enrolments for the beginning of year intake
  • Provide trial and testing feedback to families of applicants
  • Communicate the enrolment steps to new families ensuring that full and complete information is provided for all new students
  • Maintain regular contact with the relevant school Principals, admin and teaching staff, keeping them updated on admissions progress and consulting with them on possible student admissions
  • Maintain waitlists of future applicants for Year levels already full
  • In consultation with the respective principals, allocate new students to classes, factoring in abilities, genders, and nationalities
  • Provide welcome letters, timetables, curriculum, and fees information to all newly enrolled students
  • Meet with and introduce students and their parents to the Homeroom teacher on their first day 
  • Participate in organising and being present at all recruitment and promotional events such as open houses, exhibitions, information sessions, off-campus promotional events, etc.
  • Maintain accurate data in school systems, enabling responsive decision-making through the enrolment process and accurate forecasting during the annual planning
  • Assist the Secondary Admissions and Communications Manager and our Communications Committee, in developing a marketing and recruitment strategy, and online and offline promotional materials related to this
  • Proofread any communications and marketing materials when needed
  • Create Early Years and Primary storytelling content for the school’s different communications media
  • Manage the rostering and support of admin staff, teaching staff, PTO volunteers and STAR’s at events, as required
  • Participate as a member of the Communications Committee
  • Report to the COO any data relevant for the school’s growth strategy and tactical business development plan to ensure attraction, recruitment and retention of students
  • Undertake any further reasonable duties requested by the Chief Operating Officer or the Communications Committee.



  • Undergraduate degree in a related field  
  • Excellent command of English, Thai. Chinese speaking is an advantage  
  • 3-5 Years experience in Admission and Communications or related field
  • Have a strong background in a similar position at an international school or in sales and customer service
  • Understanding of digital technology (Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Slides and OpenApply)
  • Knowledge on digital marketing such as CANVA, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat and LinkedIn
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

IT Supervisor

The IT Supervisor is responsible for organising and administering the school’s academic and administrative information technology (IT) systems including data systems, hardware, software, and audiovisual equipment and for working with the academic team in the area of classroom integration of instructional technology and curriculum by selecting and integrating appropriate equipment and applications. The IT supervisor will also be required to work collaboratively with school leadership regarding the visionary direction of technology in the school.  



  • Collaborates with the ICT co-ordinator and systems team, Heads of Schools and Administration to ensure the productive and efficient use of information technologies throughout the school’s programs and operations
  • Supports and coordinates an annual review of the Technology Strategic Plan and Vision including STEAM infrastructure planning. 
  • Serves as a resource to staff to determine hardware/software compatibility, to evaluate computer software, multimedia, telecommunications, and other technology resources to determine curricular applications, and to learn how to use and integrate computer/technology equipment and software applications 
  • Supports and coordinate the integration of technology in the classroom across all subject areas and proactively liaises with individual department members
  • Compiles and updates working documentation for staff, student and teacher technology handbooks as well as detailed, centralised, technical documentation
  • Plans and oversees the construction, installation, implementation and development of all school Technology hardware and software projects and systems
  • Supervises and inspects work performed by outside IT contractors for all hardware and software systems, and verifies that the Scope of Work has been fulfilled 
  • Compiles the maintenance and support contracts for all school wide hardware systems, including: servers, switches, UPS, firewall and data backup systems 
  • Analyses information to determine, recommend, and plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment, or modifications to existing equipment and system, that will provide capability for new or upgraded networks, while maintaining an efficient operation and effective use of space 
  • Develops and maintains records for the school’s IT systems including blueprints, plans, specifications, contracts, bids, hardware inventory, software license inventory and other pertinent information relative to IT hardware and software systems
  • Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment use, malfunction, and maintenance to ascertain costs and plan operating changes for budgeting purposes
  • Oversees the planning and implementation of security and Antivirus systems for IT hardware and software systems 
  • Oversees the web-based communication platforms such as the website, booking systems and help desk
  • Reviews ICT tickets and delegates tasks accordingly in an efficient manner to maintain quality systems for teaching and learning as well as for staff productivity
  • Responsible for the management, implementation, on-going development, preventative maintenance, repair, and work order scheduling program for the school’s IT hardware and software systems, including server hardware and software systems and network cabling and switches, client and printing systems 
  • Supervision of the management, implementation and ongoing development of administrative and academic software systems 
  • Consults with administrators, teachers and the technology team to define equipment needs leading to the preparation of the school wide Technology capital and operational budgets 
  • Manages the purchasing and support contracts for all school wide software licences
  • To keep all personal data safe and secure regarding school staff as well as student information.  To make sure that sensitive information is not passed on to a third party outside of the school and to keep the administrator’s passwords safe and secure.


  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (beyond a Bachelor’s degree is desirable)
  • Related qualifications in management and courses involving cloud computing, networking and technology administration as well as a teaching qualification are desirable.
  • Fluent Thai and English
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
