Qualification Requirements:

Applicants for teaching roles must hold, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree and full valid teaching certification from their home country e.g. PGCE or B.Ed (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA only candidates will not be considered for employment). Please note that the degree must be directly related to the post that you are applying for. A strong preference is given to candidates who have shown a pattern of involvement in extra-curricular activities. Overseas teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

The Lanna international teacher package includes:

  • HSC medical insurance coverage.
  • Free education for two of your children (“yours” by birth or legally adopted), and half fees thereafter.
  • Return flight to country of origin upon contract renewal. Provided annually, from the end of the second year of service (or a cash bonus alternative).

IT Systems Support

Lanna International School is in need of an IT Systems Support Technician to join our team in November 2019.

The successful applicant will actively support Lanna’s vision and mission supporting the academic, social and emotional well-being of our students. He/she  will develop supportive and positive relationships with all members of the Lanna community and demonstrate effective technology troubleshooting skills. He/she must have the ability to collaborate with colleagues in order to solve technical problems.

The position requires some flexibility in terms of hours worked and participation in continued professional development activities to extend current knowledge and practices. Furthermore, he/she must be willing to add capacity to the team through the sharing of ideas, practice and expertise. Experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop issues in addition to network wifi and ethernet configuration for peripheral devices is essential. Experience using videography software is also desirable but not essential.
